Gibson Area Swim Team finishes second in dual meet at Milford


MILFORD – The Gibson Area Swim Team finished second in a dual meet against the Milford Dolphins on Saturday.

The lady Dolphins won 160-90 over the GAST while the Milford boys won 212-24.

Chloe Williams and Taylor Willis finished first and second, respectively, in the girls’ age 15-18 50-meter breaststroke with times of 1:04.04 and 1:51.12.

Williams also finished first in the 50-meter butterfly with a time of 53.84 seconds. Willis finished first in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 1:26.5.

In the girls’ age 13-14 200-meter medley relay, Kylie Evans, Irelynn Morris, Bridget Levan and Gabriella Tarter-Propst finished first with a time of 3:45.23.

In the girls’ age 15-18 200-meter medley relay, Taylor Willis, Emery Summers, Chloe Williams and Halle Willoby finished first with a time of 3:52.56.

In the girls’ age 13-14 200-meter freestyle relay, Gabriella Tarter-Propst, Bridget Levan, Kylie Evans and Irelynn Morris finished first with a time of 3:25.92.

In the girls’ age 15-18 200-meter freestyle relay, Taylor Willis, Emery Summers, Chloe Williams and Halle Willoby finished first with a time of 3:15.44.

Emery Summers, Halle Willoby and Gabriella Tarter-Propst finished second, third and fourth, respectively, in the girls’ age 13-14 50-meter breaststroke with times of 49.78, 51.53 and 1:15.03. Summers and Tarter-Propst finished second and third, respectively, in the 50-meter backstroke with times of 46.71 and 1:13.89.

Chloe Williams and Taylor Willis finished second and third, respectively, in the girls’ age 15-18 50-meter freestyle with times of 47.22 and 1:00.88.

Irelynn Morris and Bridget Levan finished second and third, respectively, in the girls’ age 11-12 50-meter butterfly with times of 59.18 and 1:15.19. Kylie Evans and Levan finished second and third, respectively, in the 50-meter backstroke with times of 59.65 and 1:10.94.

Irelynn Morris finished second in the girls’ age 11-12 50-meter freestyle with a time of 39.99 seconds while Kylie Evans and Bridget Levan finished fourth and fifth, respectively, with times of 45.34 and 56.5 seconds.

Violet Dewey finished second in the girls’ age 8-and-under 25-meter breaststroke with a time of 41.4 seconds while Maia Delaney finished fourth with a time of 50.11 seconds and Norah Wurmnest finished sixth with a time of 1:00.2.

Gabe Wurmnest finished second in the boys’ age 8-and-under 25-meter breaststroke with a time of 42.04 seconds while Owen Corley and Arden Heap finished fifth and sixth, respectively, with times of 51.33 and 1:00.04.

Irelynn Morris finished second in the girls’ age 11-12 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 52.04 seconds while Kylie Evans finished fifth with a time of 1:07.56.

Kyree Evans finished second in the boys’ age 9-10 25-meter butterfly with a time of 22.11 seconds.

In the girls’ age 9-10 100-meter medley relay, Maia Delaney, Aria Armstrong, Violet Dewey and Raven Roemer finished second with a time of 2:38.7.

In the boys’ age 9-10 100-meter medley relay, Kieran Summers, Cooper Hull, Kyree Evans and Arden Heap finished second with a time of 2:16.92.

In the girls’ age 9-10 100-meter freestyle relay, Page Hull, Raven Roemer, Aria Armstrong and Maia Delaney finished second with a time of 2:45.47.

In the boys’ age 9-10 100-meter freestyle relay, Cooper Hull, Kieran Summers, Gabe Wurmnest and Kyree Evans finished second with a time of 1:58.65.

Kieran Summers, Gabe Wurmnest and Arden Heap finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the boys’ age 8-and-under 25-meter freestyle with times of 29.62, 30.59 and 35.15 seconds.

Emery Summers, Halle Willoby and Gabriella Tarter-Propst finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the girls’ age 13-14 50-meter freestyle with times of 38.32, 38.8 and 52.77 seconds.

Violet Dewey and Maia Delaney finished third and fourth, respectively, in the girls’ age 8-and-under 25-meter freestyle with times of 31.67 and 33.84 seconds. Page Hull finished sixth with a time of 50.49 seconds.

Maia Delaney and Violet Dewey finished third and fourth, respectively, in the girls’ age 8-and-under 25-meter backstroke with times of 40.31 and 41.25 seconds.

Kieran Summers finished third in the boys’ age 8-and-under 25-meter backstroke with a time of 37.24 seconds while Owen Corley finished fifth with a time of 52.32 seconds.

Kyree Evans finished third in the boys’ age 9-10 25-meter freestyle with a time of 17.5 seconds while Cooper Hull finished fifth with a time of 32.55 seconds. Kyree Evans also finished third in the 25-meter backstroke with a time of 22.87 seconds.

Kieran Summers finished third in the boys’ age 8-and-under 25-meter butterfly with a time of 35.29 seconds while Gabe Wurmnest finished fifth with a time of 37.04 seconds.

Raven Roemer finished third in the girls’ age 9-10 25-meter breaststroke with a time of 43.78 seconds while Aria Armstrong finished fifth with a time of 51.46 seconds.

Cooper Hull finished third in the boys’ age 9-10 25-meter breaststroke with a time of 46.94 seconds.

Halle Willoby finished third in the girls’ age 13-14 50-meter butterfly with a time of 48.55 seconds.

Stokely Nichols finished third in the boys’ age 11-12 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:58.66. Nichols also finished third in the 50-meter butterfly with a time of 1:34.57.

Aria Armstrong and Raven Roemer finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the girls’ age 9-10 25-meter freestyle with times of 34.13 and 40.94 seconds.

Stokely Nichols finished fourth in the boys’ age 11-12 50-meter freestyle with a time of 1:18.18.

Aria Armstrong finished fourth in the girls’ age 9-10 50-meter butterfly with a time of 44.88 seconds.
