Rantoul/PBL boys golfer makes all-conference team

CHILLICOTHE – Spener Stockwill of the Rantoul/Paxton-Buckley-Loda boys golf team finished 10th in the Illini Prairie Conference Meet on Tuesday.

Stockwill shot an 83 before winning a scorecard playoff for the 10th-place finish, making the all-conference team as a result. He was in a three-way tie for 10th along with teammate Eli Donaldson and St. Joseph-Ogden’s Asher Pruemer.

As a team, Rantoul/PBL finished fifth with a score of 345.

Christian Duvall finished 19th with a score of 86, followed by Johnny Rodeen (35th, 93), Dirksen Johnson (36th, 94) and Hunter Wilson (40th, 96).

On the girls’ side, Grace Mullins finished 19th with a score of 103 to lead Rantoul/PBL while Sophia Papametro finished 30th with a score of 117 and Emmilynne McCallister finished 36th with a score of 129.
