Local runners compete in IESA state cross country meet

NORMAL -- Lily Polcen of the Tri-Point Junior High School cross country team 57th with a time of 13:39.9 in the IESA Class 1A girls’ state meet on Saturday. Damian Amador finished 140th in the boys’ race with a time of 13:11.3 for Tri-Point. In the Class 2A boys’ race, Paxton-Buckley-Loda’s Karsyn Rini finished 157th with a time of 12:58.6.
