GCMS’s Keegan DeWall finishes first in boys’ race, PBL girls finish second in Uni High Potluck Meet

URBANA – Keegan DeWall, a Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School senior cross country runner, finished first with a time of 16:58 in the boys’ race Thursday’s Uni High Potluck Meet.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda finished seventh as a team with a score of 198 as Daniel Boston finished 60th with a time of 22:05, followed by Eli Grohler (61st, 22:05), Julio Barradas (62nd, 22:05), Zane Latimer (65th, 22:08), Zaidyn Wielert (81st, 23:36), Shane Alden (82nd, 23:43), Michael Ingoglia III (90th, 27:09) and Zachary Grohler (95th, 28:13).

On the girls’ side, PBL finished second with a score of 65.

Maddison DeOrnellas and Audrey McCoy finished sixth and seventh, respectively, with times of 21:42 and 21:43, followed by Brooklyn Stafford (12th, 23:25), Ella Strebeck (22nd, 25:20), Giselle Tufino (37th, 28:29) and Cora Busby (38th, 28:57).
