This old scribe thinks so.
Last Friday, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a political bombshell that should’ve had newsrooms across the country scrambling in search of truth and accuracy. Instead? Crickets.
The report includes more than 100 declassified documents detailing how Barack “The Omnipotent” Obama allegedly orchestrated a coordinated hit job on a newly elected President Donald Trump. Gabbard told Fox’s Maria Bartiromo: “Over 100 documents that we released on Friday really detail and provide evidence of how this treasonous conspiracy was directed by President Obama just weeks before he was due to leave office.”
Let me pause here: “Treasonous conspiracy.” Those aren’t my words, folks — they came from the director of national intelligence. That position is kind of a big deal in the federal pecking order.
So, what did the media do with that? Did they investigate? Demand answers? Hold anyone’s feet to the fire? No, they yawned and speed-dialed their handlers at the DNC to ask, “How do you want this spun?” Within hours, they were churning out hit pieces — not on Obama and his ilk, but on Trump and Gabbard — all before even pretending to check the facts.
This is no longer about Trump vs. Clinton or Democrat vs. Republican. This is about a sitting president weaponizing the intelligence community against his duly-elected successor, and the media couldn’t care less — because Barack “The Omnipotent” was the one holding the knife.
The documents reveal that Obama, with a supporting cast straight from a Cold War spy novel — Clapper, Brennan, Comey, Rice, Clinton — schemed to entangle Trump in a Russia conspiracy they knew was bogus.
So, where are they now?
Clapper is on CNN, preaching “integrity.”
Brennan lectures about “patriotism” on MSNBC.
Comey? Scribbling nonsense on the beach with clam shells.
Clinton tours the lecture circuit searching for a shoulder or a Chardonnay to cry into.
And Susan Rice? Probably whispering strategy to the other four in a corner of a Swamp cocktail hour.
As for Gabbard’s promise to refer the whole mess to the Department of Justice and FBI — let’s say I have my doubts. Asking the same agencies that buried the evidence the first time to prosecute their own co-conspirators? Sort of like asking the arsonist to lead the fire investigation.
When the stench became too pungent to ignore, the media’s defense mechanism kicked in. Circling the wagons, they trotted out career Democrats to say, “Nothing to see here,” before launching a clumsy counterattack: “Gabbard’s doing this to distract from Epstein!”
If these clowns had spent five seconds reading the actual report instead of speed-dialing AOC for hot takes, they might’ve noticed that this isn’t about distraction, it’s about exposure. And not the kind Epstein was into.
The fact is they don’t want the truth. They want control. And Obama was their messiah who could do no wrong. If he’s caught rigging the game? Well, better to bury it than admit Trump was right all along.
While everyone from Anderson Cooper to Joe Scarborough mocked Trump for calling it a witch hunt, it turns out it was exactly a conspiracy against Trump. And the media helped cover it up because it suited their narrative and kept their cocktail party invites intact.
Trump wasn’t supposed to win. Hillary Clinton had already been fitted for her White House crown. But when Trump stunned the world, the Swamp erupted. And Obama, the man whose entire résumé has been redacted by the gods of identity politics, gave the green light to sabotage the incoming president.
Tulsi Gabbard didn’t have to do this, folks. She could’ve kept quiet. She could’ve cashed her checks and worn her “former Democrat” badge. But she didn’t.
Instead, she walked into the blast radius. By releasing this report, she just painted a target on her back. The intelligence agencies, political class and media hounds — the same ones who protect pedophiles, lie to Congress and bury real scandals — will now treat her like a threat. Because she told the truth.
They won’t argue the facts. They’ll smear her character. They’ll attack her motives. They’ll call her a traitor, a distraction, a conspiracy theorist. They will try to destroy her.
Because if Gabbard is allowed to speak without being punished, then the whole corrupt scaffolding might finally fall. Her life may now be in danger.
So here we are. The public finally gets to see what many of us thought all along. A top intelligence official claims Obama “The Omnipotent” led the charge.
Yet the media yawns. Before the dust settles, they write nasty opinion pieces to protect the narrative. There’s a word for that, but it’s not journalism. It’s complicity.
The media is not the watchdogs of democracy, folks. They’re the PR team for Swamp Tyranny. Don’t trust them.
