RANTOUL — Wendy Jean Davis, 63, of Rantoul, formerly of Paxton, died at 4:42 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her home.

A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, June 28, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, with the Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 28, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born March 2, 1962, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of Howard E. and Sally Jo Howenstein White. She married John Davis on Sept. 20, 2009, in Rantoul. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Sally (Chad) Marshall of Paxton; one son, Eric (Michelle) Warnick of Kankakee; one stepson, Brian (Shannon) Anderson of Ellsworth; one stepdaughter, Lindsey Davis of Monticello; five grandchildren, Karsyn, Trenton, Kedge, Trace and Jake; two sisters, Sandy Houghton of Culver, Ind., and Terry (Punky) Ulrich of Paxton; one brother, Nick (Misti) White of Knox, Ind.; one twin brother, Scott White of Knox, Ind.; and her cat, Kain.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Davis graduated from Knox High School in 1980. She was a customer service representative for Area Disposal/GFL Environmental in Rantoul for more than 20 years. Before moving to Rantoul, she lived in the Paxton area for many years. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, fishing and flower gardening. She was a talented cake decorator and baked many cakes for birthdays and weddings. She was an animal lover. She loved horses and horse racing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.

Memorials may be made to the Society for Hooved Animal’s Rescue & Emergency in Dewey or an organization of the donor’s choice.
