GILMAN — Steven C. Geisler, 72, of Gilman, died Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Citadel of Kankakee.
A private graveside service was at Brenton Township Cemetery in Piper City with the Rev. Jim Harkins officiating. Arrangements were handled by the Knapp-Redenius Funeral Home in Gilman.
Mr. Geisler was born Sept. 13, 1952, in Kankakee, a son of Clarence and Grace (Schuster) Geisler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Paul Geisler; two sisters, Barbara Tofari and Carol Brandenburg; and two brothers in-law, Dennis Tofari and Rob Reitz.
Surviving are one sister, Gayle Reitz of Danforth; one brother, Joe (Barbara) Geisler of Kankakee; one sisterin law, Deborah Geisler of Bradley; one brother-in-law, Ron Brandenburg of Watseka; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
