CENDER
GOSHEN, Ind. — Rosa Marie Cender, 94, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, at Greencroft Healthcare.
Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Yoder Culp Funeral Home in Goshen, Ind. A funeral service was at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the North Goshen Mennonite Church, 501 N. 8th St., Goshen, Ind., with a 30-minute visitation starting at 9 a.m. Burial will be in East Bend Memorial Gardens, Fisher, at a later date.
She was born July 4, 1931, in Arthur, to Emory and Cora (Yoder) Beachey. On July 28, 1956, she married
Eldon Cender at the Arthur Mennonite Church in Arthur. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Leanna (Brent) Kaser of Elkhart, Ind.; one son, Norman (Karen) Cender of Elkhart, Ind.; three grandchildren, Monica (Kyler) Kearby of Warsaw, Ind., Deanna (Arturo “Artie”) Martinez-Cender of La- Grange, Ga., and Abigail “Abbie” (Brian) Bravo of Michigan City, Ind.; four great-grandchildren, Paxton, Olivia and Claire Kearby and Isabela “Isa” Martinez Cender; and one brother, Emory (Judy) Beachey Jr. of Arthur.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ella Mae Schrock; and two brothers, Dr. Edwin Beachey and Jacob E. Beachey.
Mrs. Cender was an elementary school teacher and member of the North Goshen Mennonite Church.
