Richard Glenn Horsch, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 3, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 67 years old.

Born in Gibson City, Illinois, Glenn was the oldest of three children to the late Richard V. and Joanne Horsch. Glenn grew up in Gibson City and graduated from Gibson City High School in 1976. Glenn then graduated from Southern Illinois University in May of 1981. He began his career in Chemical Sales with Shell Chemical Co. in Illinois. He married Sherry in 1982 and they moved to Cleveland, OH to start his new position with Stepan Chemical Company. Glenn later accepted a promotion to cover the northeast sale region with Stepan moving them out to the Philadelphia area. Glenn worked for Stepan for 28 years. Afterwards he worked for a short time for Harriet Carter before shifting to U-Haul as a transfer driver.

His strong work ethic carried through to his home life. He would often work on home improvement projects with the help of his children. He was happiest any time he could spent with his family and friends. Whether that involved traveling across the country to visit with them or watching the Eagles games with the neighbors. He was always eager to attend the latest beer festival with friends or could be seen on the dance floor at weddings and parties. He never wanted the party to end.

He is also survived by his siblings, Dorothy Horsch and Dwaine Horsch (Barb) and his brother-in-law Michael Witten and sisters-in-law Lori and Linda (Todd).
