Obituary: Glen Judy


Glen Dale Judy, II of rural Rantoul; formerly of Hoopeston, died at 4:54 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Dewey Community Church, 16 Third Street, Dewey with Pastor Neal Hauser officiating.  Burial will follow in Amity Cemetery, Goodwine.

Visitation will be two hours before the funeral service from 10::00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Saturday at the church.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton is handling arrangements.

Glen was born December 31, 1962, in Danville the son of Glen Dale and Marion Nadine “Nert” Lefler Judy. He married Kimberly Kay Wagner in 1987.  He married Bonnie Lynn on July 7, 2002, in Pompano Beach, Florida.  She survives.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; two sons, Glen Dale (Taylor) Judy III of Champaign, Austin Colby Judy of Rockford; two grandsons, Grayson Daniel Judy and Jett Allen Judy; a brother, Kenneth Earl Judy of Urbana and a sister, Edith Ann Bein of the St. Louis area.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Glen graduated from Hoopeston High School in 1981 and attended Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais.  He was a general contractor for many years.  He lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before coming to Paxton in 2004.

He was a member of the Dewey Community Church and past president of the Mystic 7 Motorcycle Club, Pompano Beach, Florida.  He enjoyed fishing, camping and dogs and had many great memories and stories of times riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
