PAXTON — The Main Scoop Ice Cream, a locally owned and operated ice cream parlor, has announced the grand opening of its sixth location — at 201 E. State St. in Paxton, just inside the State Street Mall.
The Paxton location officially opens its doors at noon Sunday, June 15.
“We’re so excited to be part of the Paxton community,” The Main Scoop’s owners said in a news release. “This location will be the perfect spot to grab a cone, connect with friends and enjoy the small-town charm that makes this area so special.”
Founded in 2021, The Main Scoop has other locations at 403 E. Main St. in Mahomet, 315 W. Main St. in Monticello, 133 W. Main St. in Urbana, 812 Broadmeadow Road in Rantoul and 401 N. Broadway Ave. in Urbana.
