Because the Queen of Hearts was not revealed, the $13,332 jackpot carried over to the next drawing, which will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Mark’s on First, 120 E. 1st St., Gibson City. The Queen of Hearts drawings raise funds for the restoration of the historic Burwelll Building downtown. Tickets can be purchased through Venmo under “@GibsonCityQueenOfHearts” or at NAPA Auto Parts, Mark’s on First or The Fashion Shop in Gibson City.
A total of $143 was won by Cheryl Cokeley in a 50/50 drawing held in conjunction with the Gibson City Restoration Association’s weekly Queen of Hearts drawing on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
