GCMS MS softball wins 17-3 over Tri-Point


CABERY – The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Middle School softball team won 17-3 over Tri-Point on Thursday.

Khloe Huff hit 3-for-3 with a triple and four runs scored while Kinly Lehmen hit 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Sophia Thomsen hit 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored while Haven Kean hit 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

On the mound, Avery Bielfeldt allowed three runs – two earned – on two hits and seven walks with eight strikeouts through four innings pitched. Karsyn Harden allowed no runs on one hit and two walks with three strikeouts through one inning.
