GCMS MS baseball loses 2-1 to Fisher


GIBSON CITY – The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Middle School baseball team lost 2-1 to Fisher on Thursday.

Case Jester tripled and produced an RBI while Ben Roesch and Blaine Ehler each had a hit.

On the mound, Jared Caviness allowed two earned runs on seven hits and one walk with four strikeouts through six innings pitched. Jester allowed no runs on no hits and two walks with two strikeouts through one inning.

In a two-inning “B” game, GCMS won 4-0.

Kade Friday allowed no runs on no hits and no walks with one strikeout through two innings on the mound.

At the plate, Carson Wilson doubled and had two RBIs while Maddox Denault and Duncan White each had an RBI.
