GCMS volleyball loses in three sets to Rantoul

RANTOUL – The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley varsity volleyball team lost 24-26, 29-27, 25-21 to Rantoul on Monday.

Sophia Ray had 10 kills, 13 digs, three aces and one block for GCMS (3-8).

Abby Brown had five kills, six digs and one block while Rilynn Cuppernell had four kills and two blocks. Natalie DeSchepper had four kills as well while Savannah Shumate had three kills and two blocks and Rylie Huls had three kills, 16 assists and 17 digs.

The GCMS junior varsity team lost 23-25, 25-13, 15-13 as Lizzy Goodin had four kills while Londyn Roderick had seven assists.
