GIBSON CITY – The Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley eighth-grade volleyball team won 25-23, 25-9 over Paxton-Buckley-Loda in the IESA Class 3A Gibson City Regional on Tuesday.
The second-seeded Falcons will face top-seeded Tri-Valley in the regional championship match at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
For PBL, Kylie Rust had two aces and four assists while Ava Masco and Hallee Johnson each had one ace and one kill while Maddi DeOrnellas and Payton Lackey each had one kill.
