State troopers issue 30 seat-belt tickets in Jan. 22 sting

ASHKUM – District 21 Illinois State Police troopers issued 30 traffic tickets and 15 written warnings to drivers, including 27 tickets for failure to wear a seat belt, during Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols conducted in Iroquois and Kankakee counties on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The special patrols focused on compliance with Illinois seat-belt laws.
